What we delivered

Foxtel’s TriplePlay initiative was created to provide customers with a streamlined sign-up process and access to exclusive bundled products. The initiative allowed customers to purchase traditional Foxtel TV online, purchase bundled TV, broadband and phone packages and change their TV or broadband packages online.

With international competitors entering the market, Foxtel needed to deliver Tripleplay quickly. Foxtel’s brief to Lumos was that they needed a highly skilled, collaborative partner to deliver quality digital work.

Our Approach

Our approach was to get back to basics and get agile. We formed small, highly focused teams to concentrate on specific areas of the product and move it forward quickly. We kept in constant communication with the business stakeholders to ensure we understood what really mattered to them. We worked in an agile capacity, delivering early wins to stakeholders in critical areas of the product.

The Outcome

Lumos delivered TriplePlay within a challenging timeframe, allowing Foxtel to compete with competitors entering the market. The solution provided was solid, measurable, maintainable and business-user friendly. The TriplePlay initiative delivered and exceeded the forecast results for Foxtel, including a 4x increase in new customer traffic which lead to the largest online sales week ever recorded in the week before end of financial year, as well as the largest sales in August ever recorded.
